I’ve been trying for quite awhile to decrease my social media use but always found that the commonly offered solutions didn’t work for my lifestyle.
I’m incredibly frustrated with the atmosphere and overall mindset that exists in the blogging world right now. The common message is that the way to make money (and of course you must make money in order to be successful) is to position yourself as an expert and to market your supposed expertise to others through courses or ebooks.
I honestly expected this month to be more difficult than it was, but it was a wonderful experience that taught us so much!
Tomorrow is pink shirt day. A lot of good can potentially come from tomorrow. But a “movement” without action means nothing.
There is so much misunderstanding between the childfree world and the non-childfree world, so I thought I’d answer some questions to hopefully clarify some things and narrow that gap between worlds.
If we can really and truly show up, today and everyday, that is when initiatives like Bell’s Let’s Talk Day will be more than simple talk.
Some days life happens and missing a day of something isn’t going to throw you off the rails, but it can sure feel like it when you’ve lost your hard earned streak and have to start back at zero!
I don’t get to decide for others what they find relaxing, just like they don’t get to decide for me. I don’t get to decide if it’s the “wrong” way to relax and I don’t get to force them to relax in “my” way.
